Heres the spec

Sli gtx-660
16 gb of ram 1333hz
Msi 970a-g46

Thanks guys.

This board seems known for hot NB heatsinks. At 65C it shouldn't be that bad. If you're worried about it, try looking at improving airflow in your case.

A bigger issue would probably be the VRMs here, in terms of heat. 8-core processors should be paired with beefy 6+2 to 8+2 phase VRM setups as much as possible, esp. if overclocking. They consume a lot of power.

I was thinking of putting my stock amd8350 heatsink on the nb ( i have my 8350 liquid cooled)

Would this be a great idea??

Usual story, MSI overheating... What a surprise...

See if you can hang, maybe with zipties some fan to blow the area of interest. Or get an Antec Spotcool.

I think you may find this interesting.

Seems you 're already lucky to be overclocking at all.

Please, for the love of god, buy a new board...

With such a expensive system with dual 660's and a 4.5Ghz 8350 under water PLEASE don't run such a budget board, and especially not a MSI.

Also, go for at least 990X due to PCI-E lanes in SLI...
