So far, I am on plan F: I still think in the end plan A will be the one I do, but its going to require some more work than I thought, mainly to figure out what voltages is going to the LED strip when powered up and running new LED's instead of the strip, since I think I will have to destroy the existing one to make things work the way I want, and I am not gonna do that till I am sure I am out of options. So... for now, green: but they are not gonna stay that way.
So. On to what I have done.
As the title says, we are talking about Red Titans. And it took a bit to decide what colour of red I would use. Now, even if you pick a particular colour, you still can get different shades.
And if at all possible, use a paint booth: and funny enough, the shop where I work has a small one:
In my case, I went with Ferrari Red Lacquer, over grey Primer, to give it a slightly darker look than if was over white. And if I do say so myself, they look pretty damn good:
Of course, I couldn't leave it at just the body of the card, you have to do the back of it as well.
Which leaves us at this:
Which leaves us the following:
Powersupply: Thats arriving monday, and the rest of the sleeving stuff should show up this coming week as well. So figure a week or two making new cables.
SSD's: Have three selected. Probably by the OS/App one first with the next pay check, and then the others the next paycheck after that.
OS will be picked up next paycheck as well, so in two weeks I should be ready for First Boot. Lets cross our fingers and hope I didn't screw anything up.
