I played around with the settings and i was able to get constant 60 fps with this:

Resolution: 1920x1080
Antialiasing: FXAA
Texture Resolution: High

Advanced settings: Very High except for Objects and Shading on Medium and shadows on Low. Motion Blur Disabled.

Looks great but shouldnt my Computer be able to max out Crysis 3? i can max out any other game on 60+ fps

not with a single gpu dont think a titan can even, whoever your looking at on ebay is probly lieing i couldn't hold 60+ maxed on my overclocked 2600k and 7970. And crysis 3 is a game benifits from more cores so your 2500k could be holding you back some.

I'm realizing more and more that multiple GPUs are required to max games these days.

Would getting another 7950 help at 1080p?

I have a 3570k btw

Very High is the highest setting in Advance . . . you need crossfire for that. For single gpu (7950 stock) and i7 SB 4.5 i set it at 1080 High with 4MSAA. It went down to the mid 30s but smooth.

i've tried crossfire 7950/7970 at 1080 Very High and 4MSAA and minimum still went down to the 30s. Indoors you'll get higher fps if you notice.

I have some cash laying around so since i already have a 7950 i'm just going to pick up another one.

Question:

My 7950 is this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006

it seems to be discontinued and a new version of it came out:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026

Same model number but mines is 2L and this new one is 3L

Can i run these two in crossfire even though they arent the exact same model?

yes, you can. is your current one have unlocked voltages? you want the new one to have unlocked voltages. not sure if the 3L is.

i got similar numbers as Bal. a bit lower minimum 'cause one is only a 7950 and both card were stock. here . . .

1080 Very High and 4MSAA

it was mostly 50 minimum but i want to show you and others that it does go down lower in huge fights.
