Bitspower Fittings Tightness?

Thread Starter
I'm almost done building my rig out of Bitspower fittings and acrylic tubing. However, one thing concerns me. I have some 90 degree NON rotary adapters. I want to use them in a few spots to link some very close radiators and blocks, but they don't tighten all the way. In order to have them where I want them, I can only tighten them to the point where the o-ring is contacting the metal on the other fitting and there is a slight resistance felt.

I did hook the radiators up with this configuration by my sink with some tubing to simulate how it will be situated in the build, and had no leaks at all. Anyone have any experience with these who could either give me some peace of mind or warn me that this is a bad thing to do?

Can you unfasten it with just your hand or do you need a wrench to unfasten it?

I think as long as it won't come loose with just your hand it should be okay.

I had an issue with a 90 degree fitting leaking as soon as I started testing my build, and it was impossible to tighten (it was a crappy 4 dollar one lol) which I ended up just axing from the build altogether.

You may have some issues if it's where the O-ring just touches the metal on the other piece as that seems to me like you could untighten that easily with hand strength and it had a decent chance of leaking.
