When are Haswell notebooks coming out?

I don't really care much for newer desktop CPUs because the ones around are already pretty powerful to the point there is simply nothing they can't handle. We have hit a wall, I should say.

The same isn't true with mobiles, we still need them faster, cooler and mainly more efficient.
So... When are they coming out? I can only see news about the next desktop chips from intel frown.gif
Same goes for AMD's next chips, only news about desktop models.

Technically they've been out, but are not easily available in the U.S. I'd say they will be readily available within the coming months.

Yeah seeing that performance improvement with mobile graphics makes me want a haswell laptop.

Are you kidding - see a thread or two earlier - THEY ARE AVAILABLE!

Also this with some new models

My thread right below this talks about the Sager NP7370 with Haswell AND GTX 700 series. Just ordered it. I might put up a simple review and benchmarks/temps if the community wants me to.

I see.

However I can't find any reviews of them.

So do they have a huge battery life? Intel even advertised notebooks that could be powered by solar cells built in the chasis..

And frankly, I cannot care for haswell notebooks with a nvidia or AMD GPU, since the integrated chips are so promising, but please put out a review of the haswell CPU thumb.gifthumb.gif

Reviews for the Sager laptops or for Haswell mobile CPU's?

Sager laptops are known for being best bang for your buck. They aren't sexy, light, or have a logo that will appeal at Starbucks, but you won't get better hardware for less. And they don't do that by cheaping out either. Their assembly quality is really good, and their chassis are usually pretty solid. Not a Lenovo or Apple, but not some $400 Walmart HP. Their batteries are usually considered average, and Haswell is expected to increase battery life across the board.

Haswell notebooks.

I'm gonna be saving up for a Lenovo T series with haswell. Looks like they will be coming out in September. I do expect to see one of them with 20 hours of battery thumb.gif
