Haswell is a tock, just cause for what you use a PC for didn't get a huge upgrade, doesn't mean it's not a good improvement. Haswell is better for mobile platforms with the great power efficiency.

Definitely this ^ The Z87 motherboards bring a TON of new features from all around, water resistant coating, new heatsink designs, mSATA, better networking and audio chips, more native SATA/USB, better internal components, diff color schemes, etc etc etc
Are some of these features gimmicky? Sure. Are some of them not a big deal? Sure. But they're there, and it's only beneficial to us.
