Going by PPD - should I...

A) Say "No-Pref" on WU's with a deadline, so I get both, or:
B) Say No on WU's with a deadline

I was just thinking about that when I was talking to Chozart yesterday. Wouldn't WU's with deadlines give more PPD?

I'd take B, because I get slow and low point WU's with no deadline activated.

I try and use the default settings, and if my memory is a any good [no-pref] is the default.

In any case, they benchmark your PC to judge if you can handle the more complex WU's, and if you can, you'll always get the larger, most often high-scoring ones (other than the 392 and 396pt WUs)

They all need to get done... one way or another... but I don't think I ever had a WU without a deadline.

Yeah. I keep getting the 2125 and 2125's. My second core and A64 are one the 2126's, and the first core is on the 2125. Haven't left those cores since at least three weeks.

Thanks for the help.

The bonus WUs require to set the -advmethods flag, and the large WUs flag.
I use the command line one, so I have no idea how to do this in gui, but i know that's how to get the bonus wus.

The WUs you get will be much larger, some taking over 100mb or more of ram to run. These WUs tend to give more ppd for computer's that can handle them, and like I said, make sure -advmethods is on too.

If you're using the GUI client, it's in the options.Something like "accept large WUs".
If you have the console client, go into config (add the -config flag) and go into advanced options.
