Just for gaming on other fronts BD is decent.

Vishera is decent for gaming if thats what u want on a lower end gaming rig...

But the i5 option is there and i think it is a better option... When games use all 8 cores of the 8350 it and the i5 3570k are close when it does not there not.

According to this http://www.anandtech.com/show/6985/choosing-a-gaming-cpu-at-1440p-adding-in-haswell-/6 It appears that a 8350 with Video card should produce about the same FPS as a 3770k....and with SLI or Xfire it depends on the game. Maybe I'm wrong, but if someone is just gaming in 1080p or 1440p on their PC, I'd say a 8350 would be suffice...no?

Meh depends on alot of things.

Single Gpu in Heavy Gpu loading games there all close even the Oldies...

You can see this by looking at the FX 8350 vs the FX 8150.. by that compare it makes it look like the FX 8350 is not a worthy upgard over an FX 8150... " we all know better then this"

When u add 2 =4 gap is getting huge..

If they would have done a more Cpu heavy game the differences would be bigger

they have 4 games there and i have only played one of the four...

when I look at it I see the 2500K and sometimes the i3-3225 walking it down..

Go check out the section of synthetics and multi-threaded applications.

Doesn't even come close.
that is true. the cost/performance argumant was valid with 3770k but 4770k is pretty much same as amd platform. so if its offers more computate power, and draws less power its simple what to pick.

Have you read the post ive quoted before? The Kinaesthetic post? When it came to compare 8350 vs 3770 the cost/performance argument was on side with AMD, now its simply not. Sooner or later there will be some rebates, prices will settle and motherboards are not so overpriced. MSI g45 z87 is crazy cheap compared to what is offering.

Hate to break it, but the cost/performance was with the i5-3570k, which is the direct competitor to the FX-8350. However, if you have a Microcenter near you, then all that is thrown out the window and that point, the cost/performance of the FX-8350 is just not there compared to Intel's offerings.

I had a perfectly good AM2+ unit and then skipped AM3 waiting for AM3+ and Bulldozer, ended up with this:
980BE @ 4.3GHz | GA-990FXA-UD3 | SLi - N460GTX (Talons) - we all know Bulldozer is a step back.

FX-8350 is a step in the right direction, I never said it wasn't..
