you guys hate it when I'm right huh....?

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/windows-7-hotfix-bulldozer-performance,3119.html

http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/other/display/20120111124932_AMD_Windows_7_Scheduler_Update_Brings_1_2_Performance_Improvement.html
AMD: Windows 7 Scheduler Update Brings 1% - 2% Performance Improvement.

that's burning up the IPC now isn't it..

edit:
and this is still the ONLY time I have ever seen a CPU drivers update and like I stated
this AMD 'hotfix' is not quite the same thing but whatever.....

You're Right? how can you go against someone who actually owned this cpu since it launched to some tinpot site that say they didnt notice an improvement in the few hours they used the pc for?

How fickle are you

and the Windows 'hotfix' is different because AMD kept the under-performing Bulldozer away from everyone
as they were trying all the stepping revisions trying for performance because the mobo manu's were reporting back how bad it is/was.
so when they released the failure into the wild it was all about the Windows scheduling the reason for poor performance.
then the patch came out and it was all about how it really works in Windows 8..

now Piledriver is an upgrade from Bulldozer and should have been the next step from Phenom II but that's another story..
the FX-8350 and the FX-9000 are the same technology so how or why is there going to be a 'driver' update for the CPU performance.
as I stated, this is not like GPU driver updates.

and I'm not bashing AMD, I'm bashing the idea of CPU driver updates like they were GPU updates.
simply ridiculous.

I agree but its like anything else(games to name the big culprit here:P) they have to give out patches/updates/firmwareupdatesbiosupdates

the list goes on, i love my 8350, itll go to the son when steamroller hits smile.gif

as for the unparking of cpu you dont need the windows updates, theres a little program that does it all for you smile.gif

With it u do notice a smoothness in everything u do....and with the unparking you certainly notice the difference

Thats from a guy whos owned the cpu awhile and wouldnt lie about claims smile.gif

as I play nicely I will confess that members on Tom's Hardware years ago knew I was AMD (and nVidia.. biggrin.gif)
one time I was even one of the mods for the AMD Overclockers Club on Tom's.
I had a perfectly good AM2+ unit and then skipped AM3 waiting for AM3+ and Bulldozer, ended up with this:
980BE @ 4.3GHz | GA-990FXA-UD3 | SLi - N460GTX (Talons) - we all know Bulldozer is a step back.

FX-8350 is a step in the right direction, I never said it wasn't..

I meant in no way to question you but you said there hasn't been any CPU drivers I showed you a couple and you say they don't count that kinda made me pissed redface.gif
