Does anybody remember...

What was the name of the tech rumors website that broke the story of Nvidia knowingly selling defective G93 GPUs?  I think the site name sounded like a British newspaper something like "The register").

I want to see what they say these days.

BTW, the scandal cost them a billion dollars, a lot of it paid to HP and Sony who had to eat a lot of notebooks. The GPU chip was bonded to the substrate by a material with the wrong coefficient of expansion. After a few months, it cracked and failed. I had one of those defective GPUs but didn't save the receipt because I trusted Nvidia.  Instead, I bought a second, which also failed and again I didn't save the receipt.  I got fooled a third time too, then I found the site I'm talking about.

Really wasn't that hard to find.

Also this shouldn’t be in news, get a mod to move it.

ACKK!  I was only using "The Register" as an example of a British newspaper!

I ask simpleminded questions, but not that simpleminded.
