Maybe its just me, but I found most new stuff pointless. Why would I need to be able to tell my Xbox console to turn on? Im not so lazy that I can be arsed to get off the sofa to pickup the remote.

All I wanted in the new Xbox was it to have decent games, I dont care for any of that TV integration rubbish.

Like I said. It wasn't made specifically for you. People obviously wanted those features or they wouldn't have just thrown it in. What do you think is going to happen if you don't log in once every 24 hours? They aren't going to brick your console. They will probably just require an authentication or make you log into your account again instead of just logging you right in. It is to make sure that people can't mod consoles I'm sure which is a good idea or they wouldn't have done it.

Microsoft creates products and has done a good job with it. People can complain about Windows 8 all they want but I find it to be a great OS. Sure Windows 7 works just fine but they aren't forcing you to upgrade. If you have great ideas on a console why are you sitting here complaining about something people have put a lot of effort into when you could be making the worlds most 'awesome' gaming machine.

Yes but thats retarded for the simple reason of you have to type in your password and stuff again. As it stands, the Xbox Juan is at the bottom of my, "to buy" list, right next to a Raidmax/Diablotek/Apivia power supply. Granted PS4 isn't much higher, all the titles I will want to play on that are going to also be on PC. So really the only thing on my to-buy list is the Wii-U... any console that lets me play Animal Crossing on Gamecube on their console gets points in my book.

Everytime I play a game on my computer I have to log in and I have to log in to my computer itself so that doesn't really bother me. I actually prefer that since I used to live at home with my brothers I would prefer to keep them off my account. Now that I live on my own I don't really care but isn't a big deal to log in manually. I don't think I will be buying any consoles anytime soon if ever but It is annoying that people bash a console due to features that aren't that big of a deal or aren't explained in detail. I'm sure the entire reason they are being 'dodgy' on features is because they are still working and planning them out. Why answer something that could potentially change the next day.

How selfish of me (the consumer) for hoping things I wanted would be in the next console im being expected to buy. It is after all only my hard earned money i would be using to buy the console.

If Microsoft had any good games to showcase they would have done on the reveal video, instead they showed COD with dog.
No, the smart way would be to dedicate E3 to showing games.
The reveal conference was just that, a reveal conference.

At least he backs up his points.

Ugh.
doh.gif Because his detailed post shows it,so all i needed to do was call him out on it.
No, it shows what the XOne can do, not that he is a fanboy (he is not,you are the only one here)

Yes, and the hard earned money of all other consumers. If you don't agree then don't buy but they made this for a large population and not an individual. They can't please everyone nor do they have to. You may not like it now but I see you getting one in the future. Unless you are just an Xbox hater and are only here to complain and make the console look bad when in reality it is far from that.

yeah all those people are scrambling to have to log in everyday and pay fees on used games. i'm not saying the mindless hordes won't buy it again, but to say that they asked for those features??? more like they will tolerate them

Not really, I love my Xbox, PS3 and my PC. Only Xbox fanboys are trying to make it look better then what it is. Its basically an advance PVR that can play games. The fact that I can't play used games without paying a fee ontop of purchasing the game from the store is redonculous, on top of that I can't play my Xbox 360 games (granted that wasn't the hugest deal for me from Xbox to Xbox360 but I actually really enjoy alot the the 360 library). They better have a really really really good E3 demonstration or they will lose alot of customers.
PS: Wii-U sales are up 250% around the world.
