Dzilla I'm happy your jasper is fine but the point is it's a problem Microsoft so far have a pretty bad track record from OS to consoles and it seems they have no problem putting more nails on the coffin. Live might of always been a sub but things can change and it seems they won't cater to their fan base.
MS has a perfectly fine track record. Windows is still 90% of the computer market, windows 8 regardless of what people say works fine (and so did vista). XP in its easrly days was treated just like vista/8, thing is after your stuck using a crappy OS for 10 years it just grows on you. XP pre sp2 wasn't that great if I do say so myself, now windows xp feels just as archaic as windows 98se did later in xp's life. It's not MS's fault people are so misinformed about the OS, if more people would try it and set it up to their liking then maybe people wouldn't complain as much. I use windows 8 and have yet to run into anything windows 7 did better then 8.
And Again RROD was a industry problem, it was not MS's fault. Nothing they could have done would have fixed it. You could have tossed liquid cooling in those things and they still would have had a high RROD rate. MS did right by giving users a 3 year warrenty, I didn't see sony helping out users with ylod issues.
Xbox live is a premium service, MS has so much in terms of keeping the 360's dashboard updated and tossing in features over the years just imagine what they will do on the One. You simply don't get those perks on a sony system, and PSN tends to be a bad copy of XBL.
Sony has a pretty poor track record with getting products off the ground, Vita is failing and the PS3 had a vary slow start. I haven't see a wildly popular sony product in general in the last 10 years other then the ps2. Want to talk about bad track record, MS has a much better track record then $ony.
