If you think that's the only reason people hate it, you're wrong.

Why do people hate Madden? Because there's literally no difference between Madden games other than roster updates and other minor bs, and they charge full price for it. They sell you last year's game with some small differences for the same price.

People hate CoD because it's Madden the FPS. Minor changes at full price.

So basically what's going to happen is Ghost is going to be like the first Madden on a new console. Usually there's some major changes to go with the new console, and then after that small minor changes to the game each iteration afterward.

Go look at Madden's release schedule and compare it to CoD's post CoD4, it's uncanny. With CoD it's been this way since the first game, however up until CoD4 the odd game (The console version of CoD1 which wasn't the PC game, CoD3) were console only releases.

CoD1 and maybe even 2 are still some of the best FPS experiences out there, hands down.

So people hate it because it's stale.

Are you sure you don't mean COD MW 2.6 ?

Those people and even some of my adult friends will not give BF3 a chance because they find it to complicated. Which tells me simple minded people play COD.To say COD is as simple to play as BF3 is ridiculous. There are a 1000 more things you can do in BF3 that you can't do in COD.

I really hope Ghost is something new and it's not just another rebranding. I also really hope Treyarch Pulls there heads out of there A$$e$ and starts making there own game again because Black OP's 2 looks like IW made it. I really like Black op's one and was very disappointed by Black Op's 2.

Funny..

I hipfire more often than I ADS in Battlefield 3 and it gets me kills even at medium range. And these maps are certainly CoD-like, so its obvious what consumer EA/DICE wants:
Seine, Metro, Damavand, Noshar, Tehran, Karkand, Scrapmetal, Operation 925, Donya Fortress, Ziba Tower, Markaz Monolith, Azadi Palace, Epicenter and Talah Market.
14 out of 20 maps are made for CoD fans pretty much!

And the recoil is non-existent and you have unlimited sprint(unlike CoD), regenerating HP (just like CoD!) streamlined maps (just like CoD!) and streamlined gameplay (just like CoD!)

BF3 is nothing more than CoD with vehicles and slightly prettier visuals, though much more inconsistent, in its current state.

And in WHAT way is BF3 more complicated? BF3 in a nutshell to a CoD player is Domination with bigger maps.

Don't forget that BF3 only ships with 9 maps until you spend more money. And yeah I laugh whenever people try to separate Battlefield and CoD. They're in the same genre; casual generic multiplayer. The only difference is vehicles and the few big maps BF has. I don't think size and the addition of vehicles makes it more "complicated" than CoD.

If you've mostly played Call of Duty, the inability to change your control button scheme in Battlefield 3 (talking about consoles here) makes the game more complicated. Always found it frustrating when I went to stab someone and, instead, ended up crouching on top of them. Or "knifing" when I tried to throw a grenade. Lol. biggrin.gif

It has been some time since I played a console but I never had issues changing my BF controls to match that of COD or vice versa. You just aren't looking hard enough or giving the game a chance.

I'll be surprised as hell if COD comes up with anything new. Because everything up to this point was stolen from Modders in COD 4!!

To says that COD is the same as Bf3 just bigger maps in almost the dumbest thing I have ever hear. For one COD is a kill streaked based game!( this means any noob that can hip fire and gets a reward for 3 or more kills lol) Bf3 is a team strategy based game ( this means you should work as a team in order to win the round no reward but to win!) there is no comparison.....
