Has the Abyssus been fixed?

Hello guys. I'm looking for a new gaming mouse. I first looked at the DeathAdder 2013 but the shape and weight doesn't really fit me (I use fingertip grip).

Then I looked at the Abyssus but read reviews and opinions back in 2011 that the mouse jitters with some mouse pads and on some DPI settings.

Is this bug still there or has been fixed now? Also, are there other bugs in the mouse? I'm surely going to buy it with a Goliathus Large too, but what version is better with the Abyssus, Control or Speed?

I use 400dpi and low sensitivity.

I currently have a Kinzu v2 Pro but I can't use it because I hit malfunction speed almost everytime. I don't want this to happen to me too in the Abyssus.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Abyssus seems to be hit or miss. Also you need a pad that it works well with. I'd recommend a hard pad because on those it jittered least.
It works fine on 450 dpi and 1000 Hz in terms of max tracking rates though. So that should work.

Comparision of jitter between the worst and the best pad I tested:
Best was HeatoN

Worst was UC (similar to Qck+)

Thank you for your answer.

When did you buy your Abyssus?

Abyssus LoL edition here. No problems on QcK mini and large, and plastic pad under 450dpi@1000Hz. lod is quite high on cloth, but easily fixed with tape. Then you might find its lod too low, though smile.gif
Can post some MS Paint stuff tomorrow if you're interested. But as others have said, and the Abyssus thread is full of it, the jittering is a bit hit or miss. It is noticeable though (also on the ESReality boards), that people that have the LoL edition experience it way less often (or later when the mouse is older).

I'll be getting a new Abyssus sometime in the near future, I'll let you know when I test it out if I have any ripple problems or how badly in the event I do.

I bought three abyssus looking for one that didn't jitter or ripple and none of them had a problem on my 4HD but they all failed on my cloth pads. Actually, Kramerrific has an example showing no jitter on his 4HD as well HERE.

Mine was just fine on QCK Heavy 400 dpi.
