Question here, Need some enlightenment on this :)

Built a new desktop a little less then a month ago now. Been running some benchmarks and tests. Wondering what's everyone's opinions on it.
New Build:
i7 3770k OC @ 4.2ghz in turbo mode, not fixed.
Asrock Extreme 6 Mobo
Evga Gtx 660 SC 3gb GDDR5
Corsair CX750 Psu
Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz
Corsair H80i Water Cooler

About all the main components needed to see I'm assuming. So I ran some benchmarks and tests. Example, I ran Heaven Benchmark @ everything maxed but at 1600x900 res. I got a score of 820. So i did some adjustments using Evga Precision Tune and got up to a score of 839 with the settings of +35mhz Gpu Clock Offset, no additional Mem Clock Offset and Power Target @ 103%. I always run at true 1920x1080 as my monitor supports it, just wanted to try out 1600x900 and see what I got. How much would going Sli with 2 GTX 660 SC 3gb cards get for me on this score roughly if anyone knows? And or what should I do to try and get around 1k? I was hoping to get to around 1k about even though I know my card isnt no where near the greatest of great alone. Thanks.

Ok will do man, thanks. You think going Sli with my gtx 660 3gb card will double the benchmark score? Was originally thinking of going with a single better card down the road but for the money I've seen around that the gtx 660's take the lower 700 series. Could be bull though I don't remember where I fount the review at. Just want to benchmark some what better.

Who told you it was a good idea to buy a Cosair CX750?

Nobody, decided on that one myself. I like corsair parts and for the price it seemed well worth it. No problems thus far. Whats the deal?

Not only is 750 watts way overkill but Cosair CX is not very well made and it uses many cheap parts its only something you sould buy if A you are broke with no money for anything better or B you cant find anything better at all

Its even been removed from the Recommended Power Supplies list

Its made CWT not Corsair

To tell the truth and i am not trying to be rude or insult you in any way but asking before you buy is a good way to avoid mistakes like that

Cosair CX is an entry level series it does not belong in any mid or high end PC´s

A second 660 would undoubtedly give a big boost. To add to what Shilka pointed out, a 400W PSU wouldn't have even broken a sweat with your setup, just FYI.

edit: nm, your score is normal

Sounds good man thanks for the advice. As far as the psu goes, I wasn't to worried about getting the lowest powered psu just to keep the juice lower but as Shilka stated about the CX750, if its really not that great of a psu then I can always upgrade anytime here and throw in say even a lower watt psu of better quality. I know the new gpu's that have been coming out the past say year and half are requiring less and less juice to run them then there predecessors. Honestly thought I would've gotten a better score then I did on heaven benchmark but I know it has a crap ton to do with GPU.
