EVGA 680, S2 vs FTW 4GB

Thread Starter
So I just got a 7970 ghz and it died. I'm considering going back to geforce, and I'm looking at these two cards. Which is a better deal?

EVGA 680 Signature 2 SC, 1163 MHz, $430, 2GB
www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008AFZ0VQ/ref=aw_ls__2?colid=31T4PPALJU6UZ&coliid=I3EZL53R7RNAKB

Or

EVGA 680 FTW, 1150 MHz, $500, 4GB
www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0083YF55U/ref=mw_dp_sim_ss2?pi=SY125

I lean towards the signature 2 because it is slightly faster and cheaper, but I wanted to make sure the 4GB on the other card wasn't worth the money.

Thanks!

Yep. 770 is where it's at. Cheaper and faster than a 680.

If you want an EVGA 770, NCIX US has their Superclocked ACX 2GB version available for $419.99 currently.

It's faster and cheaper than the EVGA 670 SC Sig2 2GB, and the new ACX cooler performs better than the old Signature 2 cooler.

Interesting. I definitely didn't anticipate this. biggrin.gif. So it is definitive that the reference 770 is better than a non reference 680?
