In about 5 years I guess we will have cards that will be ok at 4K at a reasonable price, but right now would probably require 3 x Titans or 2 x 7990's. Basically only for the very very wealthy..

GTX Titan SLI or GTX 780 SLI will run 4K minimum 60FPS in pretty much all games with FXAA. So not as bad as some may think. A single GTX Titan can run a 1200P surround setup at 60FPS average with just FXAA in most titles and that's 1 million pixels less (half a 1080P screen) than 4K when running bezel correction.

VA panels aren't my first choice but they are still a good option for a gaming monitor.

The slim bezel and finish on it also looks great.

Time to get out a tape measure and find out how big it would be compared my surround setup. I really want 120hz surround but I think I want a comparable bezel-less expereince more.

That's the most naive comment I've heard on IPS monitors!

IPS is for color accuracy, viewing art exactly as the designer intended, the view angles are a nice complement. The better view angles allow you to see color the same even if your head is not perfectly inline with the monitor Not sure why you would need to be so secretive with your monitor, use a privacy filter. wink.gif

Pass I already have a 39 inch UHD screen coming my way.
However if they use the same panel I might try to get my hands on the driver board of this thing.

Indeed if you want people not to see what you're doing get a door with a lock problem solved.
