You don't need a better motherboard smile.gif.
Yes, you should run the upcoming games atleast on high settings fluidly. BF4 uses the same game engine as BF3. COD: Ghosts should run well too. Try oOCing the 7870XT too, squeeze out the maximum potential out of it.

I've an older setup then you and I ran a 7870XT just fine. You are good to go and should be able to run most things at full speed :-)

According to my kill-a-watt I'm hitting just at 600 watts when I'm at max overclock and have the GPU fully loaded. For most games I'm pulling a bit less then that but it's a bit risky I would say. Hell I blew out a 650 watt power supply due to how they rated it. multiple rails and it was 650 watts for the WHOLE psu rather then just the 12v rail like my current power supply rates it.

If you notice he has a Xeon 3350 which I believe has a higher TDP. Make sure your Power Supply is atleast 80+ silver and has sufficient power on its rails to deliver power to the GPU. In my humble opinion, it is a waste to buy a 2500K and not overclock it. Unfortunately you bough a H67 motherboard which does not support overclocking. If you are happy with what you have then you can stick with it. However, if you have some money consider spending it on a Z68/Z77 and overclock the 2500K to atleast 4.2Ghz. I believe every 2500K will easily hit 4.2Ghz while staying within the range of normal voltage. If you don't have a good power supply then consider looking into that as well.

Good day
