Really nice tap and die sets run a couple hundred for each (metric and standard) I try to buy nice tools, but I have yet to upgrade my tap\die set - for now I have a harbor freight set! You can buy both metric and standard for probably $60-$70 total. For aluminum they are good enough and haven't failed me yet.
As for the res, I'm actually using an EK X3 tube reservoir. I have plexi plans for the open bays.
Which size EK X3 tube reservoir did you end up using? I'm gathering parts up for my build using the 900d but it's not in stock right now and I can't measure how big of a tube will fit . I was thinking 2 EK X3 150's for my 2 loop system but if there is room between the mid plate and the P/P 360 rad I would like to use the 250 instead. Your set up is going to different then mine that you are mounting the pumps below the mid plate and I'm mount the pump,pump top and reservoir all together above the mid plate. I was woulding if you could measure the distance from the mid plate up to the bottom of the push pull radiator so I know how big of tube I can get.
