Caselabs M8 Questions

Thread Starter
I'm new here to the boards but have been looking at the M8 case and planning my next build. This will not be for awhile due to waiting on the VA =/ So I have time to plan , I have a few questions in regards to the case and things I have seen on others. I'm curious if they are options or not.

1. The front fan area's I seen on another case that someone had them matching as far as location of the fans. I noticed that with the drive bay accessories they are out of place. Is there a way to eliminate the front drive bays and just put in case fans " As if it was always there " to match the opposite side.

2. I'm very big into cable management / Water line location and would like to place my own holes in there exact locations from the MB or any other component. If I decided to take out the center section " Rebuild the MB Tray " Using a solid piece of blue Acrylic with a White Acetal sheet overlay would I be able to reuse the MB Slider's?

Thank you

I uploaded some pic of my previous build. This is what I mean by the walls etc.. Ill try to let pictures explain

Just want to say, that FT02 is absolutely killer. It's the same case I'm planning to upgrade to a Caselabs from - well Caselabs is the only upgrade option from such a quality case IMO.

I hope you get your questions answered soon. Response is usually very fast on this forum. thumb.gif

You can use a radiator mount or fan mounts to achieve a similar effect (but not exactly the same). There isn't anyway to remove the Flex-Bays from the case.

On the M8 that woudl probably work because the rails for the slides are on the back side and shouldn't be in the way.

Caselabs..

The Caselabs M8 ! Are you able to fit 2 Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 80MM thick Triple 120 mm in the top with the added top plate ?
I'm sorry to bother on this. I tried to find out on your site but couldn't find it.

If not whats the max allowed size in a push / pull config..

Thank you again !

With the 120mm top cover - yes you can. Keep in mind that the Monstas are actually about 85mm thick wink.gif The radiator + one 25mm fan = 110mm which will clear the top easily. The other bank of fans will go underneath - so two push-pull Monstas is very doable and leave all your 5.25" bays available thumb.gif

Must be my reading, but it looks to me as though toxic11b is asking if 2 Monsta 120.3 rads will fit into the top - into that 120mm extended top side by side, flat rad duo. Now there's 284mm of space to the case's width, and those Monsta rads are listed as being 124mm wide, so by numbers it looks doable. But what would he mount the 2 rads to ? Yes your correct. On top of the case side by side but with being able to place the extended top over them so you cant see and it saves space..
