[TechPU] Corsair Carbide Air 540D Makes Both Side Panels Equally Important - Page 20

Do you guys think it will be possible to squeeze 3 x 240 30mm rads in the front section, with one layer of fans each (1 top, 1 front, 1 bottom)?
Looking at the pictures I think it may be possible, I just don't know yet how much/if any cutting will be required... What do you think?

I'm not a Corsair Fanboy (Silverstone and CoolerMaster case lover) but you gotta give them credit. They really do think about what the enthusiasts wants and build them at a attractive price point. Because I mean I would love a MM UFO case but that's north of 400 bucks for the way I want it.

I somewhat regret buying my Corsair 650D now. This is the case design that I have always wished they made for under $400.

I've started a separate thread in water cooling forum regarding water cooling options in this case:

Am i the only one who prefers plastic cases? They are lighter and tend to take a very hefty beating not to mention easilly fixable, Super glue + black marker = problem solved, They also tend to be easier to clean as plastic isn't a dust magnet like aluminium or steel.

No, it's more like a caselabs case that normal people can buy.

I've found that plastic is no less of a dust magnet than steel or aluminum. Plastic also scratches and dents really easily, unlike steel and powdercoated aluminum. Brushed aluminum is just horrible to own.

The last two aluminum cases i've owned (HAF X and something else forgot the name) are scratched to hell, Yet an older plastic case i own is still in relativly good-nic, Plastic doesn't scratch as easily as people think it does.

Depends on the quality of the plastic. People talk about how NZXT uses too much plastic, the plastic on any of their newer cases are of OUTSTANDING quality.

I do not feel like I am missing anything in my Phantom 630 with the plastic front and top panel.
I also don't think plastic dents as easy as aluminum. It will break/snap before it breaks. Just look at unibody MacBooks vs plastic laptops. The MacBooks will most certainly pick up little dings and dents. The plastic laptops usually begin to creak and small part might break off.

I prefer aluminum BTW, I'm just saying
