[Forbes] Finally! Independent Testing Of Rossi's E-Cat Cold Fusion Device: Maybe The World Will Change After All - Page 4

A test was run back in late March with over 120 hours of continuous no interruption running. The test was run by four professors from different parts of the world, with Mr. Rossi absent, though he was available if they had any questions. The professors used their instrumentation and they controlled the cabling.

So by the looks of it, Sure he turned it on. But they could use whatever they wanted to measure the output. Sounds a bit more promising.

You heard it here first - inventor will die of "natural " causes or by "freak" accident and we will never hear of the e-cat device again...

I still am very skeptical but again hope its at least credible and not a out right scam. For those who want to progress cold reactors you can sign the white house petition.

Sort-of a repost of: http://www.overclock.net/t/1393108/bte-independent-test-results-on-e-cat-lenr/0_20

But since this one is pretty popular and the other one is dead ... you guys can rock this one instead.

First time reading about any of this and although I don't understand most of the technical jargon I get that it produces 4 times the amount of energy of the 2nd place competitor, what does this means in terms of power plants? Would they be able to crank out more power with less cost? Whats the lifespan of a plant like this?

Also, is this something that could be made smaller and used in personal transportation or space flight?

That explains it pretty much so glad I was born in Europe as this is what I got to college for well not the technique mentioned here but what I described in that post.

Supposedly he is worried about people stealing the idea and process because he doesn't trust the patent system. That and he is worried about his life expectancy if Energy company top management see the results.

I am a little skeptic that it is real...just too good to be true really and I think he would be moving on this much faster than this if he really had something. To me it screams of "looking for investors to swindle"

If it is real...I am not thinking much will change. Obviously he is only concerned about one thing...money. If the process isn't sold cheaply it will not matter. No one will use it. That is part of the reason why a lot of renewable energy sources are not better utilized. A cheap coal plant is just more cost effective.
