Corsair CX750M or Thermaltake Smart Series 750W? - Page 3

Hi guys, leveraging the thread, I'm thinking to add another hd7950 in a few months for my system and change the power supply. One option is Thermaltake SP-750P, somebody know this unit?? I can't find a review for this and don't know if the same that modular series.

Here the link: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001977

Any help is welcome, thanks

How long can you wait before buying?

Computex 2013 is going on and we have so many new units comming soon that there have to be something for you

Like say the new fully modular NZXT HALE 82 V2

Or have you already bought that 750 smart?

Probably the new models of power supply in computex 2013, coming to Argentina in 3 or 4 years, I can't wait for a long time jeje.
In this moment, I have 3 options: HALE82-850-M u$s 234, Thermaltake SP-750 u$s 150 and CM Silent pro M 700W u$s 250 (the last option).

The SP-750 I see the best option price/performance (in case the performace was similar to the other)

If you only have those 3 then yes the Thermaltake seems like the best one for the money

It's not the same, but I don't recognize what it is.

It's definitely not the same layout as the Smart M (CWT PUQ) if you just look at the pictures, so it's something else:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Thermaltake/Smart_M_750W/4.html

I don't know how much worse it would be.

Ah that's true, the ul code are two diferent manufacturer. The Smart Serie M is a CHANNEL WELL TECHNOLOGY (E161451) and the non-M Series is Thermaltake (E303666) ...

I wait for a decent review then.

What do you think of the HX750 from Corsair? Reading some stuff last night, that looks like a good PSU.
