Need Advice Haswell or Ivy - Page 2

I wonder if it's 10-10-10-30? It's not bad for standard ram though I don't know if it's overclockable but if you're running it on the advertised speeds it shouldn't matter which batch.
For example I'm using these samsung ram which is rated 1600mhz 11-11-11-28 @ 1.35v
I pushed my first pair to 2400 @ 10-10-10-26 at 1.565v...but my second pair from microcenter was an older batch so with the two pairs in my computer it's wanting more power for the same speeds.

Overall, ram shouldn't hamper your CPU overclocking.

RAM only hampers overclocking when a locked CPU is used. Otherwise, for enthusiast unlocked CPUs, the memory and CPU is independent of each other, so the frequencies can be set to what is desired.

Cheers

Which one should I go with and why? Will the latency of one of them be better for matching with another pair in the future? And will either be compatible with both socket boards?

I am no RAM expert, but I'd really like to buy just one of those Crucial, but feel will have a hard time finding the exact timings and profile in the future?

I've got the same set of Muskin in my M5G and I got no problem with them at all.
