You have to support your claims with facts and proofs. wink.gif

I'm here to learn.

Even if the pro 5200 can match the 5800K, how much would you have to pay for it?...

While I do agree with you Intel is still well ahead on power. The A10 is a 100W part while the i7-4950HQ is a ' 47W ', 55W with 69W boost as tested on anandtech, part. AMD will have the upper hand again if they can get 7700 class performance in an APU.

The A10-5800K is a 100w part so it can be overclocked.

The A10-5700 is only 65w and virtually same but looked.

That's actually pretty good by any measure. and better than Intels ~70w

Richland will improve that, and Kaveri will improve that a lot more, APU's is where Intel have no efficiency advantage.

Anyways, its common sense intel's gonna get their ass kicked on this one. AMD's GPU on die is gathering mad steam, meanwhile the Igpus on Haswell haven't budged IIRC.

What do you mean? They just released. . and you compare amd apus in general to one specific apu of intels.

Intel sustained TDP is 55W the 69W is just for very short amounts of time, but we are comparing Desktop to mobile parts. I do wish anand had done a power test though to see if that was true. I can't wait to see AMDs response to get back in the lead.

With very expensive edram... AMD gets that performance with regular DDR3. It won't even touch Kaveri with GDDR5.
