Here is my new phantom-530. And yes, that is a Noctua 140mm case fan strapped to a cooler master radiator.

Anyway, I absolutely love this case. There are some difficulties though, it's slightly too high for my desk, consequently I cannot connect the usb 3.0 ports to my motherboard.
I'm not able to insert a thumb drive into the front USB ports. Which isn't too bad since they're not even connected.

It looks surprisingly premium, and it feels very solid. Temperature wise my cpu stays about 5-10 degrees cooler compared to the Fractal Design Core 3000. Which is absolutely bonkers imo, never expected such a big difference just from using a different case. Especially considering my previous case had 3 case fans instead of two.
I also really dig the fan controller switch, that noctua fan can generate some noise now it's hooked straight to the radiator. But on the middle setting I can't even hear a whisper, but things still stay very cool, even during torture tests. Like < 80 degrees on the cpu, when performing the LinX test, with the i5 2500K clocked to 4.4 GHZ.

Is this case worth the money? Absolutely, I would buy it just for the looks and extra space/cable management etc. But it also performs excellent.

does the airflow on the 240mm radiator still optimal when putting a 2 x 200mm fan on top of it?

dear nzxt, make unpainted carbon fiber cases. we can take over from there, thanks.

I'm not fond of boxes that look like r2d2 and marvin the paranoid android but I'd like a midi case with good air flow that doesn't sound like a truck. I'm eyeing the PC-9F of Lian-Li. Will it be good? Because it's hard to find reviews on temp/noise, only those popular cases are reviewed usually.

Have to agree with Mr. Fateswarm, most chassis look so much better in person than in photos, but these look so much worse.

When you walk into Performance PCs storefront they have both the red and black versions on display, of course it's only subjective and my humble o, but the plastic is so very cheap looking and so abundant it made me think of something that would only blend into a child's room.

what country are you from? i have the same problem as yours, unfortunately FZ 200mm fan are the only compatible fans for 530, not sure other brand like the cooler master's 200mm fan, i saw owners of 530 cases that has bitfenix's 200mm fan, but you have to cut the excess screw slot to be able to fit in the case of 530... let me know if you have purchase 200mm, or ran into some alternative 200mm fans... i like to change mine because i'm getting scared of the noise of my kraken's x60 stock fan, because there are occasional clicking sound like there's something wrong with the bearing.. i'm afraid it will burn or the fans will ripoff from its frame cause further damage to my case or my other hardwares
