Is there any point whatsoever in tinkering with the BCLK straps on the 4770k?

I haven't seen anything on the internet which would lead me to believe it serves a purpose. In fact, apparently you can reach higher overclocks by sticking to 100 and just changing the multiplier alone.

I'll post a link later, but search YouTube for the Intel Engineer talking a/ newegg about Haswell and the potential to run cooler based on a different combo of lower multi and higher bclk
