Going All SSD! Where Do I Plug My New SSD Into? Intel or Asmedia?

Hey guys! just before I run off and get a Samsung 840 pro 512gb, I just wanted to know where I would plug it into on my motherboard.

I have a asus maximus v formula. I currently have a intel 520 series 240gb for windows and apps plugged into the red. and my wd green 2tb into a black.

if i am going to have 2 ssd's now, where should I plug it into? Also, is there anything else i should be careful of during installation?

thanks!

If you have any available ports on your Intel controller, plug it into that. AFAIK The intel controller will be the fastest, followed by the Asmedia.

I run my main boot SSD raid array on intel, then my storage array on my asmedia controller.

Run the SSDs on the Intel ports first. 3rd party controllers aren't that great.
