New Corsair Mice; Raptor M40, M30 - Page 7

Well I bought a 3.0 recently to try out the shape, and yeah, there were some differences. It didn't see much practical use before I sold it forward, but I'd be lying if I said it was drastically different when I was just using it without further thought.

EC and DA, however... Maybe you could list a few differences, because I haven't been able to find anything on my own.

Or ******* up the firmware and what not turning this sensor into a only 2 m/s gimmick while it could be a 4 m/s beast. Roccat pretty much got it right with the Savu, now we just need more shapes thumb.gif

4m/s. who the **** needs that? I imagine only a hand full of people in this forum use a sensitivity high enough to actually make use of such a high ******* malfunction speed.
still high IPS is good I used to make my zowie evo crap out alot and it went up to like 3.5ms the reason I stoped using there mice. If a company able to make a mouse with good tracking and very high ips I say go for it better than having your mouse looking up in the sky or something

I tried out the m30 from fry's and it seemed like a good mouse in terms of ergonomics and tactility. It reminded me totally of my BE Death Adder. For only 25-30 Street, it seems like a good deal for most people who like that shape.

Newegg says the 13th for both so I imagine that rollout has already begun.

EC and DA, however... Maybe you could list a few differences, because I haven't been able to find anything on my own.

I held my 2013 DA up to the profile pic of the M30 and it does look quite similar (thumb buttons are placed differently) while the top down view seems to be a bit different (scroll wheel, dpi button and buttons are not part of the shell) . This may change once I actually get one.
