Here is my planned build if that makes any difference.

-Intel Core i7 4770K
-ASUS Sabertooth motherboard
-ASUS NVIDIA 700 series graphics card
-16 GB memory Corsair Dominator (2 sticks of 8GB)
-Corsair Professional Series HX650W 80-Bronze Power Supply
-Corsair Force Series GS 360GB SSD
-Corsair Graphite silver with window Case
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64
-Samsung S23B550V monitor

The games I intend to play are Flight Simulator and the latest release of Counter-Strike. I mightplay some other games but other than that, I just plan to use it to store photos, watch HD videos, internet browsing, music playing and word processing.

Thanks for any advice and suggestions given. Cheers

I would rather go with that, you're picking some Corsair products that aren't the best for the price. The Force GS SSD is getting outdated and pricy, for less you can get a 480GB Sandisk Extreme. Same for case, PSU and memory.

The XFX PSU is pretty good (manufactured by Seasonic) and comes recommended by OCN.

Also, are you sure that you need 16GB? 8GB is way more than enough for conventional usages already.

For the memory, I want some headroom for good measure.

Then this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/mushkin-memory-997104

8GB is already with headroom to me, depending on what you do.

Man, you should do it yourself. You'll save some money and have fun doing that. It's pretty easy, all plugs/holes placements etc. are standardized. Watch out the Newegg video and you'll see:

You guys may find this useful Differences between Mainstream ASUS Z87 Motherboards.

Essentially, the EXPERT is a minor step up from the PRO with Thunderbolt. Here is how PRO's compared to DELUXE:
Quote:
- No South CPU Heatsink

- VGA, DVI HDMI, DP vs. DP, Mini DP, HDMI (Deluxe)
- 8 SATA III ports vs. 10
- Single LAN I217-V instead of Dual LAN
- 1 less USB3 header
- 12-Phase vs. 16-Phase CPU Power
- Dual band Wifi a/b/g/n vs. Dual band Wifi a/b/g/n/ac

Thanks for the specs mate.

Now, what is the difference between the wi-fi? I assume that ac is newer, better and faster than n? If so, will I notice a difference between the two? And what is the difference between single and dual lan?

My apologies if I seem ignorant. Im just new with this.
