It actually seems to be an ad for Kaveri. At least that's the impression I got when that one guy's suit said HSA optimized

Funny, because their drivers are already pretty good..Equal to nVIdia's in my extensive experience with both companies.
If anyone needs to put effort into their drivers, it's Intel.
The G620 would not win outside of gaming, its CPU portion is destroyed by the A10-5800K in nearly everything....And a HD7770 alone costs as much as the APU alone, you could buy a cooler and a go for a slightly better motherboard with the difference the Pentium brings in, OC the A10 to 4.5Ghz or something and completely and utterly decimate it.

The AMD APU even wins in the Intel biased Sysmark and it's only at 3.8Ghz...That Pentium isn't going to clock very high.
The saddest bit about it is that the proof is already there and out, the FX is faster than its competing processor (The i5) in actual CPU intensive workloads which shows it pulls ahead when its 8 cores are used, and Crysis 3 shows games can make use of that...The i7 pulls ahead of the FX by like 20fps and the FX ahead of the i5 by like 5fps in Patch 1.3 going by results I saw somewhere in another topic.

Why are you trying to force Intel in to this? I just saying that trying to hype "awesome power" for entry level products is silly as the main point of thous products is not raw performance but the compact form factor and low price. If you are going to spend this kind of money on advertising about "awesome performance" why do it for thees parts and not the FX line and gaming grade radeon cards? You know the parts that are actually built for high performance?

So much negativity in this thread. mad.gif

If the color in this vid was green and named Nvidia (Or Intel blue), people would be on their knees throwing their money.

Unfortunately, there is no green or blue in next gen consoles.[/quote]

I hear that. thumb.gif

Pretty much haha, or those who have no clue about what they are buying.

Trailer didn't give me a taste of anything (guess I'm not the target), just a "how does this have to do with new console tech?".

Other then the new consoles supposedly using HSA (Heterogeneous System Architecture) noting.
http://developer.amd.com/resources/heterogeneous-computing/what-is-heterogeneous-system-architecture-hsa/

The A6, A8, A10 APUs are not the same thing as the jaguar based APU's that are in the next gen consoles.
