And yes that is how it is supposed to work (based on the PWM pulse) however it seems to be doing voltage control (could be nice if I had noisy high rpm fans but I don't.

Have you measured the voltage with a multimeter?

No I haven't gotten to that point yet. There is a clear difference though when I use the software with these 3 pin fans, how much of a voltage difference though I am not sure. It allows me to have full control over the RPM which is nice, but the software doesn't retain my settings very well. To get back to my settings every time I reboot my computer I have to reopen the software, once the software loads then my fan settings come back but I would just rather the software not be running.

Yeah, I know. I don't use it either.

As for the problem you're having I'm completely out of ideas sad-smiley-002.gif

Maybe post a picture of the BIOS settings?

Thanks

Hey Ghost if you do decide to grab on mine is for sale. PM me if you are interested biggrin.gif

Aside that.....

I have had the audio crashing(and a hiss in my earphones when playing games with build in voip) as well etc but on 7 and was planning on swapping over to 8.1 anyway. I believe my BIOS is F3 as well.
I read the post above but that is a bit over my head :/

Just manually Install the driver. Uninstall the current one, and opt to delect the driver. Then restart run CCLeaner. Go to Device Manager, right click on the "Ethernet controller" Click update driver, choice install from location, select the Killer Install folder and it will do the rest. It will only install the ini that way. thumb.gif

Hey guys, does anyone here have a G1.Sniper 5 drawn in SketchUp, or some program that I can open in SketchUp??
I have the board and I'm planning a high-end wall mounted rig, and plan to draw it out in SketchUp (and I'm very new in it), so some help would be really appreciated smile.gif

Hi,

I seem to be having trouble with my Gigabyte G1 Sniper B5. When I turn it on, it simply beeps continuously, then turns off, then turns back on and does one beep. It does not pass POST or show any video on the screen.

I've reseated the CPU, RAM, etc. and I can't seem to find any indication of what the error code is on Gigabytes website.

Does anyone know what the issue could be?

Thanks.

IIRC that usually means issues with RAM.

That's what I am thinking too, but it seems odd for brand new RAM to just fail like that.

I can't discern any error code, it's just a continuous set of short beeps, I can't even count them tongue.gif
