Thanks. And yeah, I'm happy with it. And truth be told, I've still not overclocked it yet.

Anyway thanks a lot.

so i have the option of buying a second hand one of these from an acquaintance; i trust him when he says it works. if he flashes the bios, am i good to go with a 4690, or should i look at 97-based boards? not going to be overlocking, obviously, but i'm realllllllly into the sound blaster aspect of this board - unless it's so buggy with haswell-refresh that it's not worth the trouble (which is kind of the impression i got from this thread)

edit: to be clear, i mean the m5. here are the full specs, if it makes a difference:
i5 4690
msi r9 280x
antec hcg-750m
kingston 120gb ssd

thanks!

The T01 beta fixes a lot of voltage related issues as long as you dont use AUTO on Vcore if you are running it past stock multi.

Does anyone have a WB for the sniper 5 they would want to sell?

I can't seem to find one anywhere.

I've also been looking for the ek block with out any luck. I finally settled and used the 3/8 barbs on the stock heatsink.... Looks terrible. Doesn't match the other Nickle ek cooling solutions.

I just got NIB Sniper 5 for a staggering deal, off my local shop.. I noticed it's a rev 1.0. What changes did GB introduce in rev 1.1? I noticed these revisions can be either good or bad.
