Damn well at least you got a replacement pretty quick i hope? I am surprised they replaced it with damaged pins? I know GBT is actually kind of pin friendly, i know in the US if it is just a few pins they will replace it, if its too many they wont.

Thought about buying another but if im honest i wouldnt notice another 400mhz or 500mhz on the clock for what i use it for! EVGA just need to step my cards up now and i can finsh it off
Glad to hear the flash helped, but sad about the CPU, honestly that is what I have been seeing, some disappointment. Look at it this way, remember X58? This platform OCes much better than X58, Sandy and Ivy I guess were what you might call flukes, the good uArhcs usually don't OC through the roof even though Sandy was a great uArch. Ther eare some tricks to get the speed up, I am almost done with the OC Guide, it should be posted soon enough. Try to increase the VIN override voltage to 1.9v or 2.0v and set LLC to Extreme. set vring to 1.15v and then down the vcore, se eif that helps. What is your cooling BTW? I think 4GHz Haswell is enough to unbottleneck most if not all applications. You can also set your Uncore frequency to 3.5ghz that might help with clocking the CPU frequency with lower VCore, your BCLk is also on auto, right?

Now to overclock this beeeeyatch.
Sin where is your gigabyte haswell OC guide!
It is coming
I think you guys will like it. Very odd with the fan control, if you get odd things like that it is best to just flash the BIOS. The Easytune fan control is actually impressive, i agree, however there is room for improvements and from what I know they are working on updates for the ET software.
