Are you overclockong naviblue? Please also make sure you pay is ready for haswell if it isnt it will cause issues with some of the power saving issues. I have been running this board for a little over a month without any stability issues. However easytune will cause dpc latency on some configurations to be high and can cause a bdos, so uninstall it and see if your problem is gone. If it isn't please list all your compoents and settings so i can try to replicate it.

Yeah, I upgraded to the F5 bios yesterday and it actually requires a little bit more voltage to get stability at 4.6ghz (1.275v). BSODs have seem to disappear but when I left my computer yesterday I couldn't get my screen to come on this morning (USB3 sleep bug?).

AND I spoke too soon, I was typing this response, got another BSOD....I was trying to run DxDiag for you.

My system is in my sig, I'm pretty sure it's more than capable of running Haswell at 4.6ghz but I'll uninstall Easytune even though I don't use it.

Unfortunately the only way I see the ability to trigger the headphone amp is to go through the front audio port.
That can't be right, if so that is pretty terrible.

Interested in which motherboards are the most stable since I'm not buying for three weeks.
This thread is making me a tad less excited about this board.

point is its better than any onboard audio on today's motherboards (by a big margin)
NOW if one thinks it can compete with external sound cards like STX or others...then it's wrong

I would say it competes with my Xonar D1 from the rear port. I cannot detect any noise from my ears. It's well shielded from the rest of the board and has stereo separation that blows away my Xonar D1. From the front headphone port it seems to not be shielded in which I get awful noise and oscillation. I don't know why they don't have shielded cables for front audio yet?

Just make sure to turn the SBX Pro Studio crap off in the panel when you first install the audio drivers.

In 3 days I have to get the Sniper 5, and I have fear of suffering the same problems as you, are discussing here in the forum,

I have a simple question, when you have BSOD, you have OC, or stock ?

From what I've read, only the 3.5mm input beside the optical cable on the back of the motherboard is amped

Ok so I read the manual (I should've probably done that before this) and I was using the wrong output on the audio out. I had it plugged into the rear out. The port next to the SPDIF is the amplified/speaker out, and has a yellow ring around it. Bad news is, it sounds like crap. It's super noisy just like the front audio port, and the noise coincides with actions done on the PC, which to me says the audio very poorly shielded from the rest of the board. The rear out sounded much better, and I didn't notice any noise at all, but it is NOT amplified at all and very quiet.

I'd still say use a outboard sound card. A Xonar D1 PCI-E is in my future. I have a Xonar D1 PCI, but the sniper has no PCI ports so I can't use it frown.gif

EDIT: I actually really think they screwed up the recent drivers for this audio, possibly the audio in some BIOS as well. It's currently The Worst sound card I have ever used, and I really hope they can fix it. When I play a game, I can hear the video card whining into the audio portion of the motherboard, and it sounds like a dubstep track.
