Damn that sucks. Personally, I would Rma the board unless it's easier for you to just pick up the swiftech splitters. If you plan on running push/pull (if it'll fit) then you'll want the swiftech splitters.

Good luck!

Have you tried going to into the BIOS and checking the FAN 2&3 to make sure it's not set to low to power the fans? I am using a Swiftech Helix 140mm and akasa viper 140mm fan on them. But the akasa viper would not power up. I thought I had a bad header myself went into BIOS messed around with 2&3 and it started to work.

What setting specifically did you use? I tried changing various settings in the BIOS but nothing seemed to make any difference.

04 means recovery from sleep or hibernation lol not all codes are error codes, just notifications.

Thanks for the info! It's strange but I get this error when I reboot my computer after a normal shutdown. I have to do a hard reset to get it booting properly.

BTW: I really like this motherboard. First time (in a long time) that I'm using something other than ASUS and I could not be more satisfied.

I'm using Windows 8. I'll try with "fast startup" disabled if I ever get code 04 again. Thanks for the tip!

dudes 04 isn't a bad thing, it is normal. The codes are just telling you the status of the board.

For instance if one uses OC Touch the POST code changes, or used to change at different mulitpliers.
