Do you have a lot of USB devices connected? I noticed that the USB hubs for my monitors caused this problem on my board.

Its supposed to be a copper pipe with an aluminum block wrapped around it with thermal paste.

I've also been getting weird things occasionally with this board... Like when I Disable SLI I have to hard shut down the PC, plus it likes to get stuck booting when I do till I reboot again.
I've had mine for awhile now just gotta get some stuff on this forum now ^^
Bought my GTX 780 Lightning x2 the other day and been pushing them hard.
Anyone have tips on what they had to do to fix the DPC latency issues? Didnt even realize till I tested just how much it peaks on the tool....
Also Im on the F7 bios atm, do you guys think that the F5 is still the best from what im reading in the thread atm?
I had this same issue last week, I had to pull power and the battery on the board for a while for everything to reset. Boot and flash with a USB drive and you should be able to operate normally. Took me 2 tries of this to work with my board, I got this troubleshooting from Gigabyte direct as I was about to RMA because of the same issue. @Bios has a bigger chance of screwing-up your bios than actually applying the new bios I dont understand why they continue to push this crappy software to users.
