BTW i think the second oamp is much better with highs and the OPA one is much better with lows and bass. Were you also the guy that was trying to use the front headphone amp with his case leads?
I did. It's terrible and it slipped out of my hand and slammed against my video card at first because the force required to remove it and squeeze the tweezers together is ridiculous.
Both the front headphones port and back amplified headphone port are just as noisy as each other. I know the front port is unshielded, but the back port is just as noisy. Using the 2nd opamp definitely killed a good portion of the noise.
The 2nd opamp has a much higher low frequency response, and seems more drive.Edited by kaihau - 6/12/13 at 7:02am
