For that price do it.
No problems at all with my SLI GTX 670's in my sig rig and the current WHQL drivers. And I'm gaming at 1600P

Rant start */

Yeah what annoys, me is that I have built lots of pcs for myself and friends for the last 10 years.
I did my research, looked at the benchmarks, read the reviews and the conclusion I came too is that SLI 660s would be great value.

I got it so wrong though, I thought most games support it and its just not the case.

Support seems to mean, using 50% of both cards.

Heaven, Firestrike, Crysis 3, show it to work. Lots of Vids on youtube slowing SLI working on GRID 2.

I cannot get Grid 2 to use SLI, I have the profile, I have the drivers, I have the updated game, so what else do I try?
I spend many hours trying on this, when I could have been gaming!

SLI means STUPIDLY LONG IRRITATION.
You have to check each game with patch level, to make sure it supports it.
Test your FPS to see if your getting the increase
Spend hours on forums if it dosn't work, trying to find out why.
Wait weeks and months for a resolution for AAA titles. *\ Rant stop

I sold one of cards on ebay, so im using 1 660 now while I save for a 780.

Hmm.. I have yet to encounter a game with an SLI profile that didn't recognize my GTX 670 SLI..

What are your sig specs.. Did you uninstall the old drivers first?

I just upgraded from a pair of 670s to a single 780, on my 1440p monitor. It's so much smoother (subjectively, even if framerates have gone down a little overall) and I don't feel the need to try to dick around with SLI profiles trying to avoid weird texture loads and whatnot in my games. SLI is not something I will be trying again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.smile.gif

Now I just need to get rid of the 670s ...

I think this is all the info on my rig. 2600k @ 4.4Ghz, 16GB Ram@2.133Ghz. Cosair Force SSD,
Gainward 660 Golden Sample with slight overclock in SLI (apparently) mode.

Grid 2 doesn't use more than 4% on the second card in SLI Mode, and many other games are the same.

To run Grid 2 smooth I have to drop it from Ultra to High Settings for the 60fps+

Some benchmarks to help show up any performance issues.
Screenshots to prove drivers are correct and profile is there.

NVIDIA System Information 06-10-2013 20-31-59.txt 5k .txt file DxDiag.txt 61k .txt file

10% overclock on the 660 Cards, and +200 on cpu.
