Yep, agreed. Also saw some Lian-Li's and a Silverstone in the TPU pictures that look interesting.

I just bought an Arc Midi R2 two, maybe three damn weeks ago! What I really wanted was an Arc Mini R2, but there was no telling when we'd see one come along. Of course it happens shortly after I settle for the Midi R2. Oh well. I'll probably buy one and switch down to the Mini R2 at some point, but it will likely take 4-6 months before these show up in the US anyway.

Even the Mini R2 looks like it will be able to fit a thick 360 and 240 in P/P configuration with out modding. Which is crazy... the Midi R2 can't even do that. You do lose the 5.25" bays in the process, but still pretty impressive. I just bought two 240mm UT60s and cut/installed a grommet for a fillport in my Midi R2. I would have waited and done 360/240 in the Mini R2 (and not cut the Midi) instead if I'd known mad.gif

Ah, that's a bummer... I'm using that rear fan as an (filtered) intake to feed fresh air for my top mounted radiator in the Midi R2. I have the front rad as intake, and top of exhaust, plus the rear as intake to create positive pressure over all. I suppose I'd just have to switch the top to intake and the front to exhaust if I couldn't use the rear fan on the Mini R2.

I also noticed that it looks like they improved the SSD mounting on the Mini R2 as opposed to the Midi R2. It LOOKS like the drives are elevated off the back of the motherboard tray, so perhaps they have some kind of drive caddy now. On the Midi R2 they screw directly into the motherboard tray, and directly behind the motherboard so you can't remove them with out removing the motherboard.

The Lian-Li cases largely look to be rip offs of the Ncase M1, which is a little sad. The internal layouts are different (which is admittedly important), but particularly the front fascia is a direct rip off, as well as the side bracket for the dual radiator mount. PS Guess who is the contract manufacturer for the M1? That's right, Lian-Li.

Fractal Design Define XL R2 Full Tower = $99.99. It doesn't have a window, but go down to your local Lowes/Home Depot and pick up a sheet of plexi/acrylic for $10 and mod your own.

Total Cost: $115

Corsair 600T Mid-Tower = $149.99. Solid case, but not Full Tower sized.

Total Cost: $149.99

Silverstone TJ11B-W Full Tower = $561 (Cheapest price at us.NCIX). Solid case, but goddamn is it expensive for the ordinary consumer.

Total Cost: $561

See where I'm going at? The Define series from Fractal Design are really what makes their following so large. They are extremely solid cases with very little plastic on them to boot (mostly full steel/aluminum, etc.), but come at a much easier to stomach budget price.

I would argue that the 600T is about as close to full size as you can get without actually being full size. Seriously, size is not an issue with this case but your point is taken...

I just ordered the 350D. I will let you know how I like it if you'd like. I mainly got it for the dedicated SSD slots. biggrin.gif

I like the ARC XL I'm curious what the maximum rad thickness up top is in a push setup.

Looks like 60mm from the screenshots. Probably 45mm in push/pull if you don't want it hanging down past the VRM heatsinks.
