There is really a difference between the two ? Haves the same native cables, the same wattage. Also, about the PCB components, are the same ?

They more less pimped the efficiency up to 80 plus platinum otherwise everything is pretty much the same

And which PSU is newer, which was released after the other one.

And from what i saw, the voltages are a little higher than the platimax.

Also, could you explain this, on techpowerup on platimax review, on inside the PSU there are missing some things, im no expert : http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Enermax/EPM850EWT/images/in_resonant_tank_caps.jpg

Platimax is just a pimped up Revolution 87+ from what i understood in the review i read a while back

The Platimax is a waste of time and money and its overpriced

Note i could be wrong here

Pretty much yes

If you are looking for a new PSU the best one i seen so far is the Super Flower Leadex at least in terms efficiency
