USB Cut out issue on GA-Z87X-OC
Hey everyone, new to the forum but I just did a new build and I'm having an issue with my Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC, wonding if you guys could help identify the issue.
My USB ports keep cutting out during certain conditions which kills keyboard and mouse for a second or so at a time, it also produces audible squeals over my USB speakers.
My first thoughts where lack of power, but it does not happen during Prime95 Stress Tests which puts the CPU at 95W but it will happen while trying to watch a 4K youtube video, and the CPU is only at like 35 W.
This does not happen when I'm playing CS:GO and using the graphics card extensively.
It only happens when multitasking a lot of apps randomally, or watching a 4k video on Youtube.
The issue was horrible before setting the XMP memory profile with just idle load the USB would constantly cut out, and only happens during these situations with the XMP profile enabled. Do you guys think I need to manually configure the ram to get rid of this issue, and if so where I can get the exact specs to use with this "CMZ16GX3M2A2133C10" memory?Build Specs:
Things I've Attempted to fix the issue:
- GigaByte GA-Z87X-OC
- Intel Core i7-4770K
- 32GB Corsair Vengeance PC3-17000
- Corsair TX650M Power Supply
- GeForce GTX 770 Superclocked
- Samsung 840 SSD
- Cooler Master Hpyer 212 Evo CPU cooler
- Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Keyboard
- Razer Deathadder 2013 Mouse
- Updated Bios to F6
- Installed all Chipset Drivers from Gigabyte website
- Attempted to install USB 3.0 Hot-fixes although the updater says it's not applicable to my system.
