This is my first reply ever in this forum, i am new here
Having a problem with a unstable system, and crashing battlefield 3.
intel i7 4770K haswell
Kingston beast 2X8gb 2400mhz "kit"
evga geforce gtx 760 4gb
850w psu 80+ platinum
Samsung ssd 840 pro
WD green 1TB
tp-link wireless card
So everything works when stock.
But when setting ram to 2400mhz and 1,65v as the Kingston beast can handle i get a unstable system and crashing bf3.
even at 2132mhz bf3 is crashing.
And this is at stock cpu speed 3,5ghz and intel turbo boost enabled in bios (stock settings)
I get 1 error in prime95 after approx 30min when ram set 2400mhz
My temps are OK
50 degrees Celsius at CPU when running prime95(silver arrow sb-e)
Now i am running prime95 again and with 1600mhz on the ram. been running for 1 hour now. seems promising.
Any thoughts from you guys?
I really don't need to OC but want my ram to run at their announced speed.
