I reinstalled my OS three times (win8, then rolled back to win7 and then the new released 8.1) within two days.
Since then I have some weird problems with my vcore.
I can´t get my vcore I set up in the bios as fixed vcore under load in windows (during prime95 or games or whatever).
My 4670k was stable at 1,288V (4,6GHz) and that was also the vcore which was shown in cpuz, aida64 or hwmonitor (maybe +- 0.001V). However, now I got several steps of vcore. If I use a value between 1,279V up to 1,3V I ALWAYS get 1,308V during load in windows. If i choose a value between 1,270V up to 1,278V i ALWAYS get 1,284V during load in windows.
And so on. I cannot get values between those steps. Just 1,284 or 1,308V. So actually I know it isn´t supposed to be the exact value I put on in bios, but I ve never seen those steps before. I can´t even say or test if my cpu is primestable with a special value of vcore, because I cant get any values besides 1,284 and 1,308V.
What is this? I didn´t change anything. Same drivers, same bios (F7, Z87x-D3H). I reinstalled all stuff, because I got a Samsung 250GB EVO SSD, so since I use that one, it dowsn´t work anymore.
Did i maybe crashed my bios? Should I just reflash it to F7 again?
