Could find no approved memory list, but Gigabyte said to just look for RAM approved for Z77.

What I finally bought was the 4x4 16GB Kingston Predator kit KHX18C9T2K4/16X which I'm hoping will work out alright. Kingston RAM always seems to work well with Gigabyte boards. I also have some Trident 2400 I'll probably use for testing a little, then it will go back in my Z77.

Looking forward to a much revised BIOS and hoping it doesn't disappoint! thumb.gif

Since Haswell certified memory kits (XMP Support For 4th Gen Intel Core CPUs & Z87),just start to apper on newegg,
GB will release memory support list soon.

Woohoo! I am the first one on here to be stupid enough to buy the Sniper 5 Mobo! :-)

Anyway, it just came in yesterday. I haven't unboxed it yet, just gathering all the parts for a new build in the corner of my room.

We'll see how this build goes, but I'm hoping everything goes fine. I've got most of my parts together now, just waiting on a few fittings from Performance PCs.

It's a little expensive, but it's a nice motherboard. I just didn't need any of the "gaming" features since I already have a sound card I'm using, so I went with just the standard OC model.

Also that lime green is obnoxious tongue.gif

Lol, funny enough, I actually WANTED the green. My new build is semi themed on the Nvidia Logo, so I wanted to make the Mobo match the green fans and cold cathodes I got. It will probably be a bit obnoxious but I never really tried making a themed build before so here goes nothing.

Plus, I like using multiple cards (2x SLI for now, but I am planning on adding one more card) so I don't have much space for a sound card. :-P

Got my ud5 plumbed in and os installed last night, running fine on stock so far!

I want to have a go with the fan profile features in the bios, so does anyone know if the 3 ap181 fans in my ft02 will work with it before I go undoing all my cable management?
