db - Flash Update Failed
9A - USB Initalization is started
This seemed to happen after I shut down and unplugged the power or turned off the power from the PSU. I do this when I need to change something on my PC.
However it seems to happen more randomly now. Like just after a shut down.
To fix it I would basically just shut it off and leave the power unplugged for a few minutes and try again. This would often take multiple attempts so I'm not sure it really does fix it. I have also tried resetting the CMOS which seemed to fix it once, but I continued to run into the problem. I ran into this issue with the stock F3 bios as well as the newer F5. If anyone has any ideas I am open to them.
This is what happens when the board recovers from a bad BCLK OC, it shouldn't happen at all otherwise unless something is wrong. That is the main and the backup BIOS checking eachother, the db is dual BIOS error code.
There is a switch on your board called single BIOS mode, this will get rid of the db error, switch it to enabled. It isn't the dual BIOS switch, its the single BIOS Mode switch, there are two switches.
I have o idea why this is happening unless you are OCIng the BCLK and it is failing.
if you let this run like this, you get into the BIOS? IMO do these steps:
Disable Dual BIOS with the single BIOS mode switch
Reflash the main BIOS and the backup BIOS to the same BIOS version.
If that doesn't solve the issue then you might need to RMA the board, I have never seen it do that before unless it is recovering from a bad BCLK OC, so if it doing it otherwise it might have something messed up. But you should be able to fix this very easily.
