Stable 5GHZ with Haswell on ambient cooling is near impossible. There may be a few pro over clockers who have access to high quality Haswell CPUs to push such speeds but for the most part its going to extremely hard to get 5GHZ on any store bought HW cpu with ambient temp cooling.

I am working on it though and delidding and proper delidded cooling can greatly help Haswell perform.

Good luck.

I'm still tweaking for stable 5GHZ. Fresh 5GHZ CPU-Z for during this post.

Well this is not a Haswell processor anyways. This is Ivy Bridge and their are plenty of guys at 5ghz or even more with the 3770K because i do plan to delid and also have water cooling. I just happen to run into this thread because my batch number is the same as the person who started this thread and he had some MAJOR issues.

OOOpsss.... lately all I think about is over clocking 4770k.

Good luck. smile.gif You better chance at 5GHZ with 3770k than 4770k.

my 3570k is a crap processor for oc ehe,... it requires 1.38 volts for 4.5 ghz but deliding it reduces my temp to 65c on load using ibt and prime,.. i just back down to 4.4 ghz @ vcore of 1.32 volts,..
