Indeed. I keep setting it to my default but 8 somehow magics it back to the new one.

The only negative thing about Start8 is that some applications (such as VS2010 and 7-Zip) mysteriously lose their jumplists.

Horrible article. 3 different OS's is really not needed and created a host of support issues as well as developent issues.

Agree, but too late... Already purchased and installed Start8. I wonder why windows couldn't do something this simple? Companies will pay a BILLION $$ for blogging and picture-taking apps but certainly won't pay for something this useful.
