[Idea] New idea award - Page 4

u mean , like a bracket ... like the GPU fans that have more than one fan ?

it could be done biggrin.gif but u gotta remember something , some Rads have 15-16 mm spacing , so they gotta do some modularity in that , maybe instead of makin a hole , make a oval shape so that the thread and the bolt lines up correctly no matter the spacing

its a good idea/improvement . but selling the "bracket" with some "fans" as a whole ... what if one fan dies ? , replace the whole unit?

.... if you mean , like Daisy chain 4 fans , lego style , it could be done biggrin.gif but as i said , the 15-16mm spacing is the "problem" here frown.gif and maybe some power distribution too , depending on the rated volt of that fan

its a good idea smile.gif

It is logical and it would way better than 3 seperate fans for noise and vibration.good idea

If you have any decent soldering skills, you could easily just chop up the wiring for your fans and power them all on one whip. Just make sure that if you're using a fan controller that you don't exceed the current draw for each channel by wiring too many fans together. Basically you'd just chain them together in parallel. Most fans have fairly thin wiring, around 24ga. I'd do the main feed to them out of 18ga or 16 ga wire.

^ Yeah, which I have done on many occasions...I just thought this would simplify adding fans to rads and make a cleaner look. biggrin.gif
