Could you give me some facts about WHY you want to upgrade the mobo?
bad OC? incompatibility? errors?

This is still a nice mobo and you really need GOOD reasons why you have to
do this instead of just following some feeling in the stomache.

daaang!.. ok now this opens whole new dimensions..
ive seen folks just switching hardware because of the epeen factor..
can you at least RMA it?!

whats your desired budget?

beginning with this:

MSI Z77 MPOWER Socket 1155 Motherboard
ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE Motherboard
Also the GIGABYTE Z77 UD3 is a very nice board..

burn more cash:
ASUS Maximus V Formula Socket 1155 Motherboard
ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 Motherboard
Or some fancy Gigabyte board in that price range..

but onyl if you really know why.. tongue.gif

The thing is.. every if the first boards above from 100- 140$
will OC good and serve you very well

The other three that cost more will provide you the same performance
when it comes to gaming..

only some fancy features that you really
need should force you to the other boards.. or the e-peen effect.

I´m not sure about the MSI board but only because i have no experience with it.
Ive seen many happy dudes here with it.

My personal favourite would be the GIGABYTE Z77 UD3 .. but thats only my choice (;

No need biggrin.gif

i´d say its similar to the previous generation.. look that it is a "Z" board.
Most of the boards continue to carry on their names and they just switch
the Z68 to Z77 to......... and so on.

so the stuff is almost the same. best way for the complete new stuff
would be to get used to browse the internet for some good tests
to choose one product.. then compare many tests for the same
product and there ya go biggrin.gif

Real world? All the same.

Theoretically? OC Formula vs Deluxe vs MPower.
